I met Catherine D’Lish last night. The woman who makes some of Dita’s costumes and is amazeballs dancer herself. Everythings just lining up at the moment.

Now if i could just lose a little more weight it would all be dandy!

So somehow this week I’ve ended up working at the Burlesque ball backstage and I’ve met the woman who books and makes burlesque stars in Australia. She asks me of I’m starting out and I said yes but I would like to lose a little weight first.

Her response?

“have you seen dirty martini? Don’t worry about your weight. Trust me.”

It’s that little moment where you go “someone who may not know me just said something that I needed to hear and I didn’t expect it to hear it from them”
